Description

Hi!
I proposed two solutions for this project.
This first solution is organized as two real lofts. The first loft has one living room, one kitchen, one bedroom and 2 bathrooms for each floor. I projected a staircase to reach downstairs where the bedroom is.
The second one has one living room, one kitchen, and 2 bedrooms downstairs where each one has its own bathroom. To connect the floors for this loft I used the elevator. This loft can be rented by different people at the same time giving them the chance to share the living room and kitchen, but still having their privacy in their own bedrooms.
The main entrance faces the street and second entrance is located in the courtyard for each loft. This solution is designed as two real lofts which means the functions are shared in two floors. For the second loft I used the elevator to communicate between the floors because stairs take up too much space.
The second solution comprises one loft and 2 apartments (one in each floor). The loft has two entrances, one that faces the street and one at the courtyard. Meanwhile one apartment has street facing entrance while other’s entrance is at the courtyard. Both apartments have one living room, one kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. Regarding lighting, ground floor is lighten directly so I put vertical slats to give more privacy. The distance between glass facade and slats is 50 cm allowing that part of the slab to lighten downstairs since it has few windows.
It’s designed based on an industrial style since the floor height is big. Materials I used are bricks, venetian plaster and white color skin to increase the light.
In both of my solutions I wanted to create spacious interior space and well organized too.
Hope to enjoy the solutions. Thank you !
