Description

Dear Client,

Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project, I enjoyed it and I hope I've managed to meet your need and expectations.

In the proposal you'll find a floor plan that is the main idea, and an additional option if you decide to connect the rented unit with you living space that can be done by only eliminating one bathroom. This second floorpan is only a thought in case you would like to transform it without a major renovation.
I've also submitted some renderings of the living area of the apartment even thought it wasn't requested by you, to give you a better idea of what the space would look like.

I'll go in more detail explaining the floor plan proposal which is subject of this contest, and if you have more questions about the interior design feel free to contact me for any additional information you might need.

Entry hall

As you enter the apartment you step into a wide open space that is an overture towards the spacious lounge area. The entry hall has a large mirror by the door and is furnished with a console table by the mirror (can be a bench if preferred). Rather than having a wardrobe blocking the space I've opted for a walk-in closet with hangers for coats and a shoe cabinet, and general storage space.

Kitchen & dining nook

As you mentioned in the discussions with designers that you would like to have a window in the kitchen, I organised the kitchen in an L-shape by the window and placed a round table in the open space of the kitchen area. The table is large enough for 3-4 people if you move it towards the middle of the space, and perfect for two as a more intimate setting.

Toilet

The toilet is kept in its original position where you indicated that the installations are. It is conveniently accessible from the entrance and all living areas of the apartment. It is equipped with a double sink, toilet and bidet.

Lounge

The lounge is functional divided but kept as a large open space. The two-sided sofa gives you an opportunity to have one side facing the tv and the other side the center of the room. On the opposite side of the room there is a built-in piece containing a study area, bookshelves, and a flexible lounge area. one part of the unit folds downwards and becomes a dining table or a bigger study space. This is visible in the renderings, but if you need detailed drawings of any building-in unit contact me.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom is accessed from the dining nook in the kitchen. The bedroom has it's own en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, sink, toilet, bidet and a built-in cabinet with washing machine and dryer.
The bedroom is furnished with a large double bed with bedside tables, built-in wardrobe along the wall and a small make up area in the niche in the load-bearing wall.

B&B bedroom

The rental bedroom is accessed from a private entrance but has a connection to the main apartment via a hidden door in wall panelling.
The room is furnished with a large double bed with bedside tables, a cabinet with small desk area and tv station (can have a built in mini bar if needed). There is a building-in wardrobe along the wall towards the en-suite bathroom, and part of it can be locked with cleaning supplies for room maintenance and the other part used by guests. The bathroom is very spacious and equipped with a double sink, toilet, bidet and walk-in shower.

I hope I've managed to explain everything needed for you to understand the project. If you decide to go in this direction with your renovation and have questions don't hesitate to send them my way.

Kind regards
