ROME SWEET HOME: The proposal was based on the demands of the client. Therefore it is was important to have the maximum result with a minimum of budget in a space of 72 m2 for 4 to 5 persons. A small space is essential to have flexibility and materials that creates a calmer physical environment. In this project that means appropriately placed furniture that in some case has double functionality, painted walls of maximum two colors in the same room, floor of one material that creates a sense of continuity through out the space. Due to low budget and for the convieniency of the client most of the furniture is carefully selected from IKEA, except from the furniture of the guestroom, the “box” in the kitchen that specifies the area of “having breakfast or fast lunch” and the open closet in the Bedrooms.
