Il progetto di riqualificazione della villa ha l’obiettivo di ripensare gli spazi esistenti in chiave moderna e contemporanea, rispettando allo stesso tempo i tratti originali e le peculiarità dell’edificio.
In quest’ottica la scelta dei nuovi materiali, specialmente per l’esterno, è indirizzata verso i materiali del luogo o non troppo lontani (specialmente per quanto riguarda i rivestimenti in pietra). Si è scelto una pietra simile a quella esistente per risistemare la grande scalinata d’accesso e per rivestire i muri ed il basamento dell’edificio.
Si è mantenuta praticamente invariata la distribuzione del piano rialzato, mentre quella del piano seminterrato, come da richiesta è quella che più ha subito modifiche al fine di meglio realizzare la zona spa e farlo diventare cuore pulsante dell’abitazione.
Fermo restando gli spazi di servizio come la lavanderia e il locale impianti, il resto della planimetria è concepito coma una sorta di open space dove vengono collocati i tre volumi della sauna, bagno turco e servizi er la palestra. Ovviamente però l’open space è solo apparente e la zona della spa viene divisa dalla palestra e dal corridoio centrale da ampie vetrate che garantiscono sempre interessanti scorci prospettici. L’ingresso alla spa avviene mediante un piccolo spogliatoio e un zona con doccia, lavandini e servizi separati. Al centro della spa troviamo un camino a gas che funge da fulcro tra la minipiscina, la sauna, il bagno turco e la zona relax. Il lucernario COELUX, con tutto il proprio meccanismo di specchi è collocato nel gioco di volumi del controsoffitto della piscina. La grande finestratura a nastro garantisce un diretto collegamento visivo con il giardino e porta ancora più luce.

The aim of the project is to rethink existing spaces in a modern and contemporary way, at the same time respecting the original peculiarities of the building.
The choice of new materials, especially for the outdoor, is directed towards the materials of the place or not too far (especially with regard to the stone coatings). A stone similar to the existing one was chosen to reset the large access staircase and to cover the walls and the base of the building.
The distribution of the mezzanine floor has been practically unchanged, while the basement floor, as requested, is mostly changed in order to better realize the spa area and make it the heart of the home.
Meanwile laundry room and the local facilities are the same, the rest of the plan is conceived as a sort of open space where the three volumes of the sauna, Turkish bath and gym facilities are located in the middle of the space. Obviously, however, the open space is only apparent and the spa area is divided between the gym and the central corridor from large windows that always give you interesting prospects. At the entrance of the spa there are a small dressing room and a shower room, sinks and separate facilities. In the center of the spa there is a gas fireplace as a fulcrum between the mini pool, the sauna, the Turkish bath and the relaxation area. The COELUX skylight, with all its mirror mechanism, is placed in the volume game of the ceiling of the pool. The large ribbon window provides a direct visual connection with the garden and brings even more light.
