Project description

I have developed two design alternatives for your house.
In the first alternative, I extended the ground floor to include space for two parking spots in the expanded area. Additionally, I placed another parking spot inside, next to the staircase, to show that this area can also be conveniently used for parking.
The tavern, which includes a small kitchen, a compact storage room, a dining table, and a standing counter, is located at the back of the ground floor. It has two entrances — one from the interior, through a smoked glass sliding door, and another from the outside. The last window has been converted into a double-leaf door.
As requested, the laundry room has been kept but reduced in size. Near the entrance to the boiler room, there was a small unused space which I turned into a guest toilet. Given the function of the tavern and the existing drainage point in that area of your previous plan, I considered this addition useful.
On the first floor, I arranged the three bathrooms you requested in the same general area as the previous bathroom, in order to avoid complex plumbing relocations. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet, bathtub, and bathroom. I suggest adding a window on the side wall for better ventilation, if permitted.
For the sleeping area, I designed a small hallway and used the previous wide corridor to integrate wardrobes and enlarge the bathrooms. I also created a small 5 sqm studio as a home office; if you wish, you could enlarge its window for more light. Opposite this room, in the corridor, I added a built-in bookshelf, and by placing a chair behind the wardrobe, you could create a cozy reading corner.
The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas and includes an island that serves both as a breakfast counter and as a cooking area with a two-burner stove.
As you requested, I placed a modern fireplace below the TV, with a stone-effect wall behind it. This wall includes a low built-in shelf (50 cm high) running along its length; the fireplace is centered on it, with the TV above.
At the entrance, I designed a wardrobe on the right and a bench with shoe storage on the left. The wardrobe’s height helps visually separate the private sleeping area, and its doors can be mirrored if you wish.

In the second alternative, I did not expand the ground floor (depending on local regulations, this extension might not be possible). Instead, I placed two parking spaces in tandem inside the house and designed the front area as a green and seating zone. The laundry room is smaller, and the tavern storage is placed next to it.
In this version, the second entrance is located on the rear wall. The tavern features a large counter, which can be used for games, dining, or socializing. As a suggestion, I separated the kitchen and tavern with glass doors, allowing guests to access the tavern directly from the garage without passing through the kitchen. Alternatively, you can use the rear door.
By locating the kitchen and the technical rooms (boiler room and bathroom) in this area and separating them with doors, noise and odors are better contained.
On the first floor, I moved the master bedroom to the opposite side, which eliminates the need to open a new window on the side wall (it already has two existing windows). The walk-in closet is larger than in the first option, and both the bathroom and closet are arranged around the entrance to the room. However, please note that this layout requires relocating some plumbing lines.
The two other bathrooms remain in their original position but have been slightly enlarged.
The studio is in the same place as in the first alternative.
The living room and kitchen have a similar layout to the first version, with minor differences: the kitchen island is larger, and the dining area is not directly connected to the kitchen. The fireplace and TV wall are now placed on the bottom wall, creating a different living arrangement. At the entrance, the storage layout slightly changes, and the corridor shelf is narrower.
I hope you’ll enjoy these two design proposals and find them inspiring for your home.
