To increase the area for storage I suggest to install a floor standing vanity with a few big drawers, closet and wall units. So it'll have enough space for shoes in the bottom vanity drawers and closet. Towels and accessories can be stored in the top part of the closet and in the wall units. The LED backlighting at the bottom parts of the drawers can be installed in order to create a light floating look.

For the floor trim, sill (that may be turned into a storage shelf) and bump-out shelf above toilet I suggest to use ceramic tiles which look like a parquet floor, but have a water resistant feature.
