I tried to design your home to be everything you asked for and more. The concept of the apartment is eco friendly, modern but warm.
I demolished the wall dividing the former kitchen and living room, and moved the door to the living area to the middle of the wall in the entrance hall. Now you only have one door and space behind entrance doors to put wall mounted coat hanger. To the left of the entrance door you can put credenza for storin shoes etc. I also created little niche for built in closet in which you can put coats or cleaning supplies
Kitchen, dining and living room are now one open space which is partially divided by the build in pellet stove.
By demolishing the wall between the bathroom and the former pantry I was able to put walk-in shower and a little niche for the washing machine and washing supplies. On the niche wall is towel warmer which is easily accesible from the shower. By moving the bathroom doors I was able to put double vanity with high storage from both sides.
Master bedroom is simple with walk-in closet behind the bed.
Other bedroom is suitable for many needs: it can be a guest room, study or a kids room I tried to furnish it to meet all of those needs.
For the flooring I suggest cork flooring which is both good insulator, durable and natural material and comes in many different variants.
