Description

One hundred and fifteen square meters of well-utilized, beautiful space for a family of four and their guests. I have designed a large and open common space for all family members to gather as they start their day and as they end their day, retiring to their individual personal spaces, their little havens. The latter is intentionally kept somewhat physically secluded by the extruding walls, sheltering them from direct view from the entrance. The communal area is almost entirely open to the entrance point into the home, welcoming friends and guests with its openness and airiness. Through natural light wood textures and a somber white-gray color palette, the space exudes the sense of serenity, creating a perfect place to which its residents can retreat to after a hectic day.
