The concept of the project comes from the client need to have a format that could be easily adaptable to different places locations, such as business premises, airports, wallmarts. Therefore, this concept has been translated into an autonomous element, complete with all the functions, adaptable and modular, as a fast food kiosk, but with dimensions that allow, at the same time, to fit in confined or long spaces typical of New York places and American's in general.
The block is composed mostly of wood, the trestle structure is in walnut and the panels that complement the element are in light chestnut chipboard. The panels are slightly behind the structure so that the latter can be easily spotted and, in the meanwhile, can characterize the block, allowing an easy understanding of the three-step for purchasing of the dishes. The idea is to place the main block in the center of the room in order to guide people directly through the purchase path, hampering people to stop near the entrance. The central location also generates a natural path, in a clockwise direction, which leads customers to watch the pasta lab and consequently to choose their own pasta dish during the path and then complete the choice when they reach the soda machine. All the wall following the path is decorated with aromatic herbs. The second part of the trail brings customers to the restaurant where it is possible to enjoy the meal in pairs or individually on tables or lunch counter. The togo area, for collection of online ordered meal, is placed at the entrance, on the short side of the block, to facilitate the flow of customers and bellhops. The main prospectus, as required by the customer, is characterized by a backward entrance of the shop windows respect to road, on which is placed a glass showcase corner decorated with tirapasta machines, inspired to the style of All-saints showcases
