Il leitmotiv di tutto il progetto è la multifunzionalità , lo spazio concepito per essere intimo, accogliente e allo stesso tempo funzionale sia che si tratti di una colazione al volo, un pranzo di lavoro, un aperitivo o un cocktail in compagnia. L'ambiente iniziale è stato riorganizzato in tre ambienti principali che si sviluppano l'uno nell'altro, ognuno concepito per avere delle proprie caratteristiche in accordo con l'orario del servizio, ma allo stesso tempo in sintonia con quelli adiacenti per respiro e uso dei materiali. Difatti questo legame è stato sottolineato con l'utilizzo dei materiali che contribuiscono a rendere il locale moderno, elegante , accogliete ma allo stesso tempo tradizionale e rispettoso del contesto in cui è inserito. Mentre richiama alla tradizione fiorentina il pavimento in mattoni disposti a spina di pesce (dal gotico fiorentino alla cupola del Brunelleschi) il cemento matte che ricopre tutte le pareti, incorniciando le lunettatture delle volte, riporta ad ambiente post-industriale , a uno spazio ampio concepito per essere polifunzionale allo stesso tempo. I dettagli in acciaio spazzolato raccordano in osmosi antico e moderno rendendo lo spazio rilassato ma cool.
ll primo locale, quello di accesso ,è stato pensato per essere uno spazio accogliente , sia che ci si fermi per un caffè , una lunga colazione o un aperitivo. Uno spazio "operativo" fornito di una libreria dove poter mettere a disposizione riviste e libri , e pareti in cemento che si prestano ad eventuali esposizioni temporanee di opere d'arte. L'arredo è e essenziale ma di massimo confort e il legno contribuisce a rendere più familiare l'ambiente.
Nel secondo locale è il lungo bancone /bar a farla da protagonista. In diretta comunicazione con la cucina , può essere non solo utilizzato come bar- cocktail bar, ma anche come bancone gourmet, dove poter esporre ed offrire direttamente le pietanze sia per l'aperitivo o per i brunch . Essendo lo spazio non dotato di finestre e punti luci naturali, si è pensato di ricoprire la parete del bar in specchio, così da riflettere maggiormente l'illuminazione dando l'illusione di rendere lo spazio più ampio. in questa sala è stato posizionato un grande tavolo in marmo per grandi gruppi o semplicemente per alimentare la condivisione degli spazi. Lateralmente al grande tavolo ci sono altri due tavoli .
Il terzo ambiente è concepito per essere multifunzionale e sopratutto mutevole a seconda delle esigenze del pubblico e gli orari della giornata. Difatti l'arredamento è stato studiato per poter essere modulato in tavoli da 2, che quindi possono essere combinati per ospitare 4, 6 e 8 ospiti e via dicendo in maniera semplice e veloce e sempre in maniera elegante e ben organizzata. Tutto lo L'ambiente è in stretta correlazione con la cucina, che è in fatti in parte a vista sulla sala . A ridosso della cucina vi è un bancone cosi da poter degustare le proprie portate ammirando il lavoro degli chef. L'ambiente risulta essere caldo e molto accogliente grazie ai colori scelti per le sedute e l'eleganza minimal delle piante che creano un ambiente natural-green e molto cosy.


The leitmotif of the whole project is a multifunctional space designed to be intimate, comfortable, yet functional for a breakfast on the fly, a business lunch, or a cocktail with friends. The initial environment has been organized into three main areas that develop with each other. Each area is designed to have its own characteristics in accordance with its time of use, though simultaneously being in harmony with those adjacent to breath and use of the materials. In fact, this link has been emphasized with the use of materials that make the space modern and stylish, yet welcoming and respectful of the traditional context in which it is present.
Reminiscent of a traditional Florentine bricklaid floor in a herringbone pattern (from the Gothic Florentine Brunelleschi's dome), matte cement covering all the walls, and framing curvatures on the ceiling takes us back to the post-industrial environment in a large multi-functional space. The details in brushed steel link the ancient with the modern, making the space relaxed but chique. The first room one enters is designed to be a cozy space, whether to stop for a coffee, a long breakfast, or aperitif. A work space is provided a library where books and magazines are displayed, and the concrete walls are suitable for any temporary exhibitions of works of art. Furniture is essential, and its comfort and wood contributes to a more familiar environment.
In the second room is a bar as the main protagonist. In direct communication with the kitchen, it can be used not only as a cocktail bar, but also as a gourmet counter offering direct access to an aperitif or a brunch. Because the space is not equipped with windows and points of natural light, it is thought to cover a wall of the bar in the mirror, so as to better reflect the illumination, giving the illusion of a wider space. This room features a large marble table for large groups or as a shared dining table. Next to the big table, there are two tables.
The third space is designed to be multi-functional and especially convertible depending on the needs of the public and the times of day. In fact, the furniture has been designed to be modulated in tables for two, which can then be combined to accommodate four to eight guests. It is always elegant and well-organized, simply and quickly. The whole environment is closely related to the kitchen, which is in view. Behind the kitchen, the counter allows guests to enjoy the food while admiring the chefs at work. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with the colours chosen for the seats, and the minimalist elegance of the plants have a natural and green presence.
