THE INITIAL CONCEPT FOR THIS INTERIOR DESIGN ORIGINATES FROM ONE OF THE CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS: "WE SAY NO TO THE TV AND YES TO A LOT OF GREENERY". THIS STARTING POINT MADE THE LIVING ROOM DESIGN TO BE CENTRALLY ORIENTED (THE "NO-TV" SITUATION IS SHIFTING THE ORIENTATION ON BOTH SOFAS TO BE EQUALLY DEDICATED TO THE WONDERFUL BALCONY VIEW). THE PARALLEL POSITION OF THE EXISTING SOFAS DEVELOPED TWO SIMILAR ones, BUT DIFFERENT STORIES IN THE DESIGN. ONE SIDE is DEVELOPED IN A CALM COZY FOREST-VIBE INDUSTRIAL PANEL AND THE OTHER SIDE IS SHOWING URBAN COURAGE WITH MORE PLAYFUL COLORS.
FURTHERMORE, THIS DIALOG OF MOOD-BOARDS IS UNITING WITH a MODERN AND BRAVE SOLUTION OF a partial SUSPENDED CEILING, MADE OF WOODEN PLANKS THAT ENDS WITH "a CURTAIN" OF BLACK INDUSTRIAL PIPES. THE TRANSPARENT NATURE OF THE CEILING IS NOT BLOCKING THE EXISTING AIR-CONDITIONER AND THE CHOSEN WOOD (DARK OAK) IS GIVING THE WHOLE AMBIANCE a FOREST COZINESS AND an URBAN INDUSTRIAL VIBE. BOTH SIDES OF THE LIVING ROOM ARE LAYERED WITH BOTTOM-TO-FLOOR MODULAR SHELVES (PIPES FROM BOTTOM-TO-CEILING INTERRUPTED WITH DARk OAK PLANKS). THIS CHOICE IS LAYERING THE ROOM WITH POTENTIAL PLACEMENT FOR PLANTS AND it IS FOCUSING THE ROOM TOWARDS THE OUTER VIEW.
