Current space: The cabinets are of builder grade which are not to our color or liking. The center of the kitchen under the floor in the basement was pre-wired for a kitchen island, but there is no island. Flooring is linoleum and has to be replaced.

Kitchen island with seating.
Double oven
Microwave in the island possibly
Separate cooktop possibly in the island
We have considered knocking down the half wall between the kitchen and living room to open up the space but the half wall has a return vent.
Thinking about tile floors since adjacent hardwood is hard to match. Open to ideas.
