First of all, I would like to thank you for opening the redesign of the building to a competition and giving us the opportunity to work on it.
Some titles about my design:
Plan:
The elements that make up the vertical circulation in accordance with your wishes are designed in minimum dimensions and ergonomically. In addition to the spiral staircase and elevator, less used technical units such as WC/bathroom/laundry room on each floor are positioned at the very edge of the building, adjacent to the next building where noise is high. These areas create a spatial buffer between the building where the noise comes from and our building. Thus, in addition to exterior insulation measures, a spatial solution is provided to make the rooms quieter.
It was designed with a slightly larger storeroom and a more comfortable WC on the ground floor. The entrance to the residential area has been refreshed. A small storage area for sports equipment was positioned here. For the water tank under the floor, under this storage area or under the stairs can be used.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms planned to be rented for bnb, with balconies and small sitting areas.
The second floor has the bedroom and living area. The bedroom is located on the corner, away from the noise.
On the last floor there is the kitchen and a small living area. The small bar in the kitchen area is designed for your snacks. The sitting area on the terrace is ideal for both spending time and eating something. There is also a fireplace in the living area on this floor. The laundry room was designed with its sink and balcony. Laundry can be easily washed, dried and ironed here.
Interior Design:
In accordance with your wishes, a modern interior design with wooden and metal details has been made, with white tones that will make you feel wide and spacious, with a predominance of soft colors.
Exterior Design:
A simple and modern design was created with a predominance of white. The travertine stone on the ground floor, together with the jambs and moldings on the upper floors, references the classic look. All windows are shuttered and the shutter units are recessed into the wall.
