Our proposal is based on a irregular shaped pool that takes its form from you current garden layout, namely from the walls and the trees already present, as to fit in a sort of biomimicry, growing towards areas where it finds space.
The irregular shape is based on 7 circles that intersect, 6 form the main pool, used for swimming, and the 7th one is a slightly higher jacuzzi/hot tub. The jacuzzi is accessed via a small ladder on the farther side of the pool (passed the fountain grass) and is connected to the main pool via a small cutout in the wall that makes a small waterfall. Because of the water spraying from this space, in its vicinity are laid plants such as fountain grass, that absorb the moist and grow well near it. The outer circles (that make the indents in the shape) forming the pool are made according to the trees surrounding the area. The pergola is nicely expanded in a semi-open fashion and uses the furniture you currently have there (the black rattan set, as seen in the renders) and a dining area for 4 (possibly even 8) people which are nicely shielded from the sun and winds. From the pergola you have a view of the entire garden. On the right side (when looking from the pergola towards the pool) is the covered BBQ area wlong with a small camp-style lunch table for two. The longest side of the pool is covered in sand, as to make the small beach and space for parasols and beach chairs. The sand is place to appear as the land is being absorbed into the sea, gently topping over the stone wall of the pool. Left of the pergola, near the parking spot, is a swing for 2, gently situated in the greenery and shade. The garden is effectively made of these three focal points that all have a nice view of the pool, which appears unique from all angles. The small corner in the end of the garden is a nice area for a small lounge, surrounded by bougainvillea flowers and lavender shrubs, it is also somewhat of a herb garden, where you can plant basil, camomile, mint and of course, lavender.
The main idea was to integrate the garden with a large element that connects rather than separates them from one another, and keep the existing trees in their position. We also managed to use your existing outdoor furniture and designed the pergola cover to complement it.
