This is a lovely semidetached house. On the main floor there are four rooms (please check the map) 15= entrance/living, 16=kitchen, 17 living room 18= bedroom and 1 bathroom.
On the first floor, the kitchen’s ceiling was lowered in order to get a small attic bedroom.
Our idea is to create an open space between 15, 16, 17. Unfortunately weight bearing wall and a pillar are dividing 15 and 17. How can we manage it? In the kitchen there is a recess, under the stairs that could be useful.
Three different ceiling heights are present in the house: 15= 3.30m, 16=2,70m, 17 and 18 3.60.
We would like to achieve a second bedroom and another bathroom on the first floor, over 18. In addition we would like to open the ceiling over 15 and 17 in order to free the roof. and potentially a loft may be created.
We would like to open a chimney.
that’s it.
Enjoy!!!
