Benché comporti problematiche complesse, soprattutto nel caso si voglia ottenere un edificio a consumo pari a quasi zero, l'idea di utilizzare la piscina come fulcro dell'intera abitazione è particolarmente intrigante e suggestiva.
Nella mia proposta la piscina è una sorta di “patio” centrale su cui “affacciano” la zona giorno e la zona notte; gli spazi destinati ad essere abitati sono però distinti dall'area piscina e sono contenuti in un performante involucro caratterizzato da importanti prestazioni termiche.
Lo spazio piscina, dominato da grandi vetrate scorrevoli a parete e sul soffitto, è pensato per poter essere utilizzato sia nella stagione invernale (con un sistema di riscaldamento autonomo e impianti di deumidificazione) sia nella stagione estiva, quando gli elementi vetrati scorrevoli si aprono e permettono al sole e al caldo di invadere lo spazio.
Nelle giornate di sole invernali, tra l'altro, anche quando lo spazio piscina non è riscaldato, le grandi vetrate fanno sì che questa sorta di patio si trasformi in una “serra bioclimatica” che migliora notevolmente il clima dei locali abitati senza alcun utilizzo di energia.
Relativamente alle soluzioni impiantistiche da adottare occorrerà avvalersi della collaborazione di un bravo termotecnico; certamente bisognerà considerare l'utilizzo della geotermia, associata ad una pompa di calore e a una buona quota di pannelli fotovoltaici (in copertura dovrebbero trovare spazio moduli sufficienti per la produzione di almeno 18/20 kw).
Nella stagione invernale saranno di grande aiuto anche i due camini posti simmetricamente rispetto allo spazio della piscina nel soggiorno e nella camera matrimoniale; sono due camini dalle linee essenziali e dalle dimensioni molto generose che non creano però ostacoli visivi: in questo modo dal soggiorno e dalla camera matrimoniale è possibile ammirare la piscina.


Although it involves complex issues, especially if you want to obtain a building at low power consumption (nearly zero), the idea to use the pool as the hub of the entire house is particularly interesting and charming.
In my proposal the pool is a kind of "patio" around which the living and sleeping areas “overlook”; these spaces however are distinct from the pool and they are contained in a special shell marked by significant thermal performance.
The pool area, dominated by large glass sliding doors in the wall and ceiling, is designed to be used both in the winter season (with a heating and a dehumidifying system) and in the summer season, when the glass sliding elements open, allowing the sun and the heat to invade the space.
In sunny winter days, by the way, even when the pool space is not heated, the large windows make this kind of patio become a "bioclimatic greenhouse" that greatly improves the climate of the living areas without using energy.
With regard to the plant solutions, you will need the cooperation of a good thermotechnician; certainly it is necessary to consider the use of geothermal energy, associated with a heat pump and a good amount of photovoltaic panels (on the roof there can be placed modules sufficient for the production of at least 18/20 kw).
The two fireplaces, placed symmetrically to the pool, in the living room and in the double bedroom, will be of great help too, in the heating during the winter season. These two fireplaces are very basic and their size, even if generous, is not a visual obstacle: in this way you can admire the pool both from the living room and the bedroom.
