Thank you for the change to work on this interesting layout.
To summary, we have apartment 1 at level 1, apartment 2 at level 2, apartment 3 at level 3 in the main house. In the attached house, we have apartment 4.
The idea of the plan layout modification are:
1. To allocate all the main rooms in the South part of the house, which is the best area for lighting and view, like: living room, dining area and bedrooms.
2. As the current walls and structures make the space not in regular shape, it isn’t so good for the feeling of the space. So the modification has tried to reshape the wall of the main rooms in regular shapes.
3. Re-divide the walls to minimalize space for corridor and circulation to have more space for function rooms.
4. Apartment 1 and apartment 2 have 3 bedrooms: 1 double bed room and 2 single bed rooms (double bed room area is larger than 14 sqm, single bed room area is larger than 9 sqm following regulation); these two apartments have 2 bathrooms. Apartment 3 has 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed and 1 single bed; and 1 bathroom. For apartment 4, it has 2 bedrooms (both double bed rooms), 2 bathrooms and a powder room at ground level for public use.
5. For this modification, even if we can add windows on the façade, I would minimum the change on façade and try to relocate the rooms to maximize the use of the exist windows. All main rooms and bedrooms all have windows. For bathrooms, most of them will have windows too.
