Description

Dear Client,
Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project, it was a pleasure, and I hope I've managed to meet your expectations and wishes regarding your new apartment.

I will only briefly walk you through the proposal since most of it is visible and understandable from the plan and the renderings.

Overall, not many changes were made to the layout, and your original idea of the distribution of spaces is kept as was.

As you enter the apartment the built-in wardrobe is redesigned and moved towards the entrance to enlarge the small toilet that is accessible from the living area of the apartment. This change is not mandatory or necessary if you would like to keep the demolitions to a minimum. What you gain from this change is a more spacious bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and a large sink. In case you do not prefer to move the wall the bathroom could fit a toilet and sink in the same arrangement of elements. A different and less convenient option could still give you all three elements but not be as comfortable for use.

The lounge is organized as an open space furnished with an L-shaped sofa, lounge chairs, a built-in shelf on the wall towards the bedrooms that hides a door towards the private area of the apartment.
The open space of the lounge is visually divided by a fireplace with the lounge area on one side and a large dining area on the other.

The kitchen is designed as a single linear piece equipped with ovens, a built-in fridge, and freezer, and a workbench with upper and lower cupboards for storage. Parallel to the kitchen line is a large 3m island equipped with cooktop and hob above, sink and workbench with storage space bellow accessible from the kitchen side and seamless marble look on all other sides.

Besides the kitchen elements this room is also furnished with a round table and four chairs in the corner keeping the island visible from both the indoor and the outdoor dining space.

The laundry is organized as an L-shaped workbench with a sink, washer, dryer, and storage space below the work surface and shelving units above on the shorter side of the L formation. On the other side of the room, there is a built-in wardrobe with a hidden foldable ironing station and storage for washed towels, being, and similar items.

The studio is accessed from the lounge and is furnished with a desk that is dimensioned to be able to fit two workstations, a storage cupboard, and a sofabed.

The large bathroom has a “hidden” toilet area with a toilet and bidet, a large walk-in shower, a bathtub, and a double sink.

The master bedroom entrance is slightly changed to be able to access the ensuite bathroom indirectly rather than from the sleeping area and avoid having the entrance at your bedside.
As you enter the bedroom there is a small console table with a mirror on the left, bathroom straight, and bedroom to the right.
The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a small sitting area in the corner where the entrance to the safe is. The safe is hidden n the paneling that covers the entire wall and therefore the entrance to it is seamless. On this wall, it would be possible to add shelving units or tv if preferred.
The ensuite bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, and a double sink.

The guest bedroom entrance is slightly moved to fit a built-in wardrobe behind the door. The room is furnished with a queen-size bed (there is enough space to have a king-size bed if preferred), a wardrobe with a small desk or make-up area.

The wardrobe is now accessed parallel to the window in that room and has his and her side. Her side of the wardrobe is in the area where there is a door towards the terrace providing the space with enough natural light. Her side, besides the closets, has a make-up area, while his side has an L-shaped wardrobe and is divided from the entrance to the room with only glass paneling to be able to get natural light from the window. Bellow, the window a small sitting area is formed to be used from both sides.

If you decide to go in this direction I would be more than happy to provide you with more detailed drawings and renderings of the outdoors area. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the proposal.

Kind regards
