Description

We have provided a comfortable working environment for 64 employees with room for more fresh additions. The office has been divided in two parts - open space (salesmen) and individual/group offices along with the communications corridor and lobby. The leading goals are; space efficiency, use of natural light, and achieving the first two goals on a low budget. The open space has been separated from the rest of the office using matte glass dividers. That way natural light can illuminate areas of the office which would otherwise remain in the dark. Sound absorbing, commercial carpet flooring tiles, and a bio-acoustical ceiling have been used to emphasize on the eco-friendly business model. The visible columns have been "clothed" in aluminum inserts to act as aesthetic elements, and space dividers. Along with work stations for the 44 employees, the spacious open office provides areas for brainstorming, discussion and recreational activities. We suggest decorating the round wall (left side) with a mural by local artists. Throughout the project we have used coloring in the floor to mark each zones for easier orientation of the personnel and their clients. The bill of materials has been made using standard US pricing, but we are sure that manufacturing in another country would significantly lower the budget. We are open for further consultations in the future.
