The aim of
the project is to provide the office of a flexible, lightful and pleasant place. I chose to use a
movable wall to make the structure very adaptable to all the present and future
needs, like the necessity to have three meeting room instead of two, or have a
different location of all the central part. The space
is organized in three parts. All start from the entrance, characterized by the
reception, and a waiting area. Behind
the reception is possible to use a little space, like a back office or a
janitor, this can be further reduce or enlarge depending on necessity. The upper
part is characterized by closed offices, manager offices and equipped with a meeting. The lower one instead host the open-space,
divided in two areas, the first one is a very classical open space area with
desks, the second one is a most “soft” area, that can be used like informal
meeting or “soft” work; These two
parts (open-space and closed offices) are separated by a block of facilities: copy
area, phone boot (useful for private conference call) and fax area. The space
has also a canteen divided in two parts, one with vending machines (for a fast
break) the second one with tables for the lunch. The floor
are organized by importance of space, obviously the entrance and the closed
offices are characterized by the use of two different stones, the open-space
and the common areas are floored with moquette.
