The living area is linear, composed of white or neutral colors with the exception of the dinner table, which has to be the most important piece of furniture and so it is highly tactile, made of old wood and lit by copper lamps. On the other hand, the sleeping area is characterized by the same finishes, but it is oriented according to the skew perimetric wall, in order to gain space and to obtain a sort of membrane that envelops pipes and the concrete pillar where the two different lines of walls and floors collide. This is the border between day and night, it is made up of highly tactile resin to contrast the light wood of the parquet and it contains many of the services: it is like a ribbon that opens itself and hosts places to eat, to watch the television, wardrobes, the washing machine, a service closet and even the tub.
This ribbon wall is the main focus of the design and it is the architectural solution to make it work and to answer to (nearly) all the client's answers.

La zona giorno è lineare, composta da colori neutri con la sola eccezione del tavolo, che è da intendersi come il mobile più importante ed è perciò molto materico, composto da legno grezzo e illuminato da lampade in rame. La zona notte è caratterizzata da finiture analoghe, ma è orientata secondo il muro perimetrale obliquo, in modo tale da guadagnare spazio e ottenere, dove le due differenti orditure si scontrano, una membrana che ingloba i tubi di scarico e il pilastro in cemento armato . E' il confine tra il giorno e la notte, un mobile - parete rivestito da resina materica in modo tale da fare contrasto con i pavimenti composti da un parquet chiaro; un nastro che srotolandosi rivela molte delle peculiarità e dei servizi dell'appartamento: un piano bar, un segmento che funziona come mobile TV, armadi, la lavatrice, un armadio di servizio e perfino la vasca da bagno.
Questa parete nastro è il punto nevralgico del progetto ed è l'elemento architettonico che cerca di rispondere a (quasi) tutte le necessità espresse dal bando.
