The main concept was to create a house with different qualities where every habitant will be able to find its own spot, but at the same time flow between spaces will connect them.

As for the organization of the floor plan the goal was to create an apartment where living spaces will be oriented to the part of the apartment with the nice view. Also they will extend to the exterior and they will create continuity between interior and exterior living. On the other the more private zone which contains the bedrooms is on the other side of the apartment.

For the solution of the apartment I suggest three versions according to your requests.

Version A has the characteristic that maintains the openings of the existing situation. It includes two bedrooms, two shared bathrooms one of which is next to the living room, an open space of living, dinning and kitchen areas and a office/mini cinema room next to it. It is the solution that intervenes the less at the existing situation and meets all your requirements. It was important for me that all the rooms have windows (including both bathrooms).

Version B is the same as the previous solution but it doesn’t have the office/mini cinema room. So open living space which includes the living room, the dinning area and the kitchen is bigger and more comfortable.

Version C includes interventions at the openings of the existing situation. It includes one master bedroom (with wc), a bedroom, a bathroom which is easy accessible from the living area, an open space of living, dinning and kitchen areas and a office/mini cinema room next to it. Few existing openings have been moved according to the interior distribution and two more openings have been added to meet the needs of the space.

In all versions there is an entrance hall from where you can access the living zone or the private zone of the bedrooms. Before entering the bedrooms there is a smaller hall which could include a small storage space.

As for the exterior spaces I decided to keep the living areas (exterior dinning area, bbq & exterior living) at the side of the view and as an extension of the interior spaces. These areas are protected from a pergola. On the other part of the balcony there is the solarium area, a mini hydromassage and a laundry/gym area protected from a natural pergola which is created from climbing plants. If the hydromassage doesn’t be put there could be created a secondary more lounge exterior living space with pillows. The solarium area is in connection with the interior and exterior living while the gym/laundry area is more away. At last at the narrow part of the balcony which is outside from the bathrooms and bedroom zone there could be placed a higher visual border if it is desirable (however I believe it will reduce the light which enters the spaces).

For the planting I propose two solutions. The first one includes meditarennean aromatic plants while at the second I propose more tropical plants. Both solutions create a light green border at the balcony while the view is not disturbed. At the south side it is put a wider green zone to make vegetation more intense.

The finish palette that was choses includes natural materials like stone tiles, wood and light colored fabrics which mix with the dark leather of your furniture and dark metal details .

At last but not least, the goal was to create a house with sunny and pleasant spaces that at the same time will make easy its everyday stay.
