In fase di progettazione, la prima operazione è stata quella di interpretare le richieste e le necessità della committenza, confrontandomi con lo spazio esistente. Le esigenze prevedono aree aperte e confortevoli, dove avere spazi sia per la vita sociale che privata. In quest’ottica ho pensato ad un ambiente dove già dall’ingresso si percepisce l’open space, non essendoci muri a dividere gli ambienti del living, che viene così ripartito dagli stessi arredi fissi e dove il camino diventa l’elemento di unione fra l’ingresso, la sala da pranzo e il soggiorno. La centralità del camino fa si che questo diventi fulcro e perno su cui ruotano tutti gli altri spazi.
Nel living un ampio soggiorno contiene una zona studio ottenuta tramite una libreria passante appositamente progettata. Questa struttura in legno laccato bianco satinato contiene oltre ad un ampia libreria, un vano contenitore per la stampante e gli accessori e una comoda scrivania con cassetti.
Il camino oltre alla sua specifica funzione assume anche quella di elemento divisorio filtrante tra l’ingresso, la sala da pranzo e la cucina. Questo elemento passante a bioetanolo è costituito da un mobile contenitore utilizzabile tramite degli sportelli come dispensa per la sala da pranzo.
La cucina si affaccia sulla sala da pranzo filtrata da un’ampia penisola.
Questo ambiente (living), è caratterizzato dal gioco delle altezze dei controsoffitti che si aprono in corrispondenza delle aree principali. Questa scelta è dovuta anche per rispondere alle esigenze tecniche per il passaggio dell’impianto canalizzato di condizionamento e per l’alloggiamento dei corpi illuminanti (come da schemi progettuali).
Per quanto riguarda il riscaldamento suggerirei un impianto misto costituito da un sistema radiante a pavimento per le grandi aree, mentre per riscaldare i bagni, un impianto tradizionale a radiatori, regolati da una caldaia a condensazione di adeguate potenza termica.
La scelta di una pavimentazione in gres di grandi dimensioni è dovuta al fatto di voler rendere l’idea di un unica superficie, mettendo ancor più in evidenza la volontà progettuale dell’open space. Mentre nelle camere la scelta del legno risponde ad una esigenza di intimità e di calore.
Ad estensione delle due zone principali dell’open space ci sono le due terrazze, caratterizzate da un abbondante verde e da un pavimento in legno naturale.
Il progetto è contraddistinto da una netta distinzione tra la zona pubblica addetta alla vita sociale (open space) e quella più intima, che si trovano alle estremità della casa.
La camera master occupa la parte sud-est dell’appartamento, ed è direttamente raggiungibile dal living attraverso un falso disimpegno ricavato tramite la libreria dello studio. La camera master pensata come una suite è articolata da una serie di spazi, come la stanza da letto, il bagno e antibagno e un’ ampia cabina armadio che si affaccia sulla terrazza.
Le camere delle ragazze occupano tutta la parte nord dell’appartamento. Questa zona è collegata tramite un disimpegno all’ingresso e si suddivide i diversi spazi.
Le due spaziose camere da letto condividono un ampio bagno diviso in due ambienti.
Per rispondere alle esigenze delle due teenager il bagno è stato pensato, una parte, come ad zona makeup, servita da due postazioni separate e accessibile direttamente dalle camere, l’altra un box che contiene il bagno vero e proprio, costituito da un ampia doccia e i servizi.
A ridosso della zona giorno, raggiungibile dal disimpegno, si trova il bagno per gli ospiti dove al suo interno è contenuto il mobile lavanderia, contenente la lavatrice e asciugatrice a colonna e armadiatura biancheria.

In the project phase, the first task was to interpret the demands and needs of the client, comparing them with the existing space. The requirements provide open areas and comfortable, where you have space for both social and private life. With this in mind I thought of a place where already from the entrance you feel the open space, since there are no walls to divide the living environment, which is then divided by the fixed furniture and where the fireplace becomes the unifying element between the entrance, the dining room and the living room. The centrality of the fireplace makes this becomes the fulcrum and pivot around which revolve all other spaces.

The project is characterized by a clear distinction between the public area involved in social life (open space) and the more intimate, which are at the extremities of the house.
The master bedroom occupies the south-east of the apartment, and is directly accessible from the living through a fake disengagement proceeds through the library of the working area..
