07100 Sassari SS, Italy
The aim of this project is to create a multipurpose nursing facility. The Contest is divided in three different Contests: the first Contest is about residential, refreshment and socialization spaces; the second is about nursing and health advice spaces; the third is about exterior spaces, with some part of them to be destined to rehabilitation paths.
In this Contest, the garden is faced. The aim of the Contest is to obtain a garden that is functional to our patients and that can be used as a meeting place. The garden will be the first place for welcoming our patients.
Inside the garden should also be placed rehabilitation paths, in particular for some kind of pathologies, as Alzhaimer.
With this Contest we want to obtain design solutions fort the Center that stimulate the employees to learn good practices through the communication of:
– A calm and familiar environment;
– A sympathetic and efficient performance;
-A sense of Safety, Trust, Innovation and Science.
The garden will require:
– A pool at the entrance, with some kind of water games, as little falls. It will also be adorned with lacustrine plants;
– Some space to be dedicated to an educational vegetable garden, to be used by patients;
– Green paths for rehabilitation purposes;
– Rehabilitation paths for Alzhaimer;
– A landscaping that is deeply seasonal, with the presence of colorful deciduous plants, flowers and aromatic plants.
The soil is calcareous, but you can consider the supply of other types of terrain or alteration of the substratum. The users of the garden will be both auto-sufficient and partially auto-sufficient people.
