Considering the fact that designed area is quite modest in terms of spacial capacity and light sources, first thought was to keep everything plain white and experiment with details in order to define visual identity and create space of pleasant ambient and joy. But, the range of possibilities that LAGO furniture provides led to, so to speak, crazy experiment with colors. Therefore, I'm submitting two options:
one: classy, white, simple, elegant and serious and,
other: inspired by Pit Mondrian and LEGO color philosophy.
Both options have same, unique furniture scheme, completely chosen from LAGO palette. Kitchen is designed by using their basic 36.8 model, double sided with dining area in between, with enough space for double regular fridge, but if in any case you wish for different solution like smaller fridge or LAGO fridge cabinet, the choice is up to you.
Instead of glass door between kitchen and living room, access is partially closed by transparent LAGO shelf, so even they represent two separate areas, they are still connected visually .
Living room area is completely oriented towards the fire place, with big LAGO corner shelf, while the space under the stairs is partially closed to be storage cabinet, and partially open imagined as special ambient for lamp or a sculpture.
In this disposition of furniture, any LAGO sofa is applicable in this space, in color and shape as desired. My personal intention was to maximize sitting area and U shaped sofa seemed like perfect solution.
