The project involves the creation of a living area divided into a kitchen area connected to the living room through a one meter wide portal.
The kitchen is open, with a large island with a breakfast counter and tall cabinets placed on the back wall provided with built in ovens and refrigerator, to obtain a clean and minimal effect.
The living room is divided into a sitting area with a tv area and a gas fireplace covered with metal panels in order to give it a modern look and make it the center of the room, making it also the hearth of the house. The dining area is located along a side of the room, provided with a bench connected to the supporting surface of the fireplace, providing a continuity, giving a common thread that characterizes the room and also producing a sense of familiarity.
Always relatively to the living area, according to the instructions provided, it has been designed an area used as a home office with an upper floor space equipped with a bookcase and a writing desk. In the area located under the mezzanine it has been created a small lounge area with a tv area, in order to make the most out of every space of the house.
It has also created a small entrance area equipped with a console, a mirror and coat hanger, in order to have some sort of a reception place.
The access to the sleeping area is through a door located in front of the entryway.
It has a bathroom with a large shower, that may be turned into a tub, and two bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a private bathroom that also comes with a large shower and a big laundry cabinet that can hold both the washing machine and the dryer plus several shelves to place all the necessary.
The guest bedroom is large enough to accommodate either two single beds or a king bed, according to the needs.
Regarding the flooring it is recommended to use a floating wood floor, which is very easy to install and does not require demolitions or invasive works, with colors tending to dark brown. For the walls it is suggested to use a gray palette, to give a chic modern look to the entire apartment.
