Main idea of this project is to keep open space concept.
I've tried to give a modern style with the materials and the furniture but make the space pleasant and comfortable at the same time. From the entrance, the whole flat is on view, partially apart from the kitchen, yet still visible from a recess (which may be closed by a transparent glass to avoid smells from the kitchen). The dining area is just in front of the kitchen. I chose a simple table with clean shapes, but with sophisticated design details, and linear white design chairs. Entering the space there is a wardrobe for coats and shoes with modern and curved design, imitated the curtains shape. On the opposite side from the entrance, at the bottom of the space is positioned living area. Between the dining and living area there is transparent shelf beside the pillar, to put in communication the rooms, but also to visually separate them too. This living room is very cozy and main part of it is a corner sofa and a comfortable armchair. The coffee table, sideboard and TV unit are clear and white. Touch of color: the armchair and the pillow. In front of the sofa there is a wall which is extended to give a bigger base to TV unit and make this area visually more spacious. There is a door which hide the private area with rooms and bathroom.
The possible interventions are minimal: suspended ceiling, some new structures and demolition make possible to increase the communication between living/dining room and kitchen. In this way all rooms are joined and the space became more fluid.
As your requested I kept the wood flooring in the dining and living room, same as in the kitchen.
