Description

The solution provided gives the optimal use of the space. The main entrance remains in its current place. Upon entering the apartment, on the left hand side is situated a small built-in closet for shoes, jackets and so on. Behind it, in the place of the current living room, is situated a new single bedroom. The existing bathroom is reduced by removing the bathtub and moving the sink in its place. The rest of the space is organized as a closet for cleaning products and a washing machine and dryer, stacked on top of each other. The existing door for the bathroom is removed and a new entrance is organized on the right hand side of the entrance to the apartment. In this way the bathroom is separated from the kitchen/living area.
The kitchen is kept in its current place, along the wall of the bathroom so that the existing water and sewage connections can be kept. Along the wall with the window the project proposes a dining area with 3 or 4 chairs. The radiator can be kept in its place under the window with a grid incorporated in the table top. Along the remaining wall opposite of the kitchen, there is just enough space left for a 3 seat sofa.
