The sunshine is the first factor to be taken into account: therefore it was decided not to favor neither the living area nor the sleeping area. In addition, this determines the location of services, such as bathrooms and kitchen, surely most suitable north favoring the other rooms on the remaining sides. The windows in this project are the limit, but at the same time its strength: for the presence of solid walls on the perimeter is able to house all of those spaces that do not necessarily need to have aero-illuminating surface, such as wardrobes, bathrooms, closets, laundry room, hallway. That being said, the northeast quadrant is the one that lends itself to the inclusion of those functions.The project proposal seeks to synthesize the requests in order to create unity and flexibility of space. The width of the windows has been maintained as in origin, in order to not affect the preexistence since it is constituted by bearing masonry. The entrance is spacious and the whole ambience is clear in the composition. Upon entering we find on the right a equipped wall with sliding panels that lead to a wardrobe with secondary passage to the master bedroom. In the living area there are three main windows and each illuminates a specific space: living room, dining area and kitchen. As mentioned in the concept you have chosen to place the kitchen in the north as winter is a warm shelter and in the summer is cooler since the wall is never exposed to the sunlight. In addition, the water connections are easily connectable to the guest bathroom. The latter has been designed in order to offer its services in a discreet manner to both the living area and to the sleeping area. Furthermore, all the doors of the rooms are not directly visible. Overall we tried to optimize the quadrature available where wasteful spaces are almost nil.
