The conceptual solution is based on the project assignment and your guidelines. In addition, the idea concept was created based on the analysis of the narrow and wider environment, the future purpose of the building as well as the potential elements that the space should use.
The first floor was designed as a two-room apartment with a larger area of living rooms (kitchen and dining area), which was one of the main tasks of the project. Here, the existing structure is used to the maximum while the new solution is effective and offers a positive answer to the requested uses. The position of the open staircase is where the staircase is now. In this project, it is packed in perforated metal panels, which gives a specific cube with the function of communication, but it is also functional in terms of privacy and shelter because the street is very close to the building. From these stairs, that is, the gallery, it is possible to access the large terrace on the southwest side, which is half uncovered and half covered. There is an element of the environment that affects the design, for this reason part of the terrace has a side perforated panel that gives additional privacy to the users of the terrace. There are parking spaces under the terrace, which remain covered by the terrace slab. From the master bedroom there is also a slightly smaller terrace that remains behind the perforated panels because it looks directly onto the street. It is important to emphasize that the internal stairs are designed to be functional even when you decide that this building functions as an individual residential building. For this reason, they are two-legged and connect the first floor with the attic. The attic is a smaller apartment of 40 square meters, which can also be part of the apartment on the first floor, where there will be two bedrooms. On the first floor, there is a clear functional division of the apartment. Always insist on it. Rooms should not be mixed by function. The zone of daily activities is one unit, the zone of sleeping rooms is another unit, this is clearly visible through the spatial organization. An additional toilet on the first floor is provided for this square footage. The internal stairs are behind the wardrobe elements. In this way, the stairs are not visible because the second floor is a separate unit. The attic has a large terrace with special points. On one part you have a covered jacuzzi tub, while on the other there is a part where you can drink coffee with your friends in a covered lodge that has direct views of the lake. All the mentioned points use perforated metal panels that will bring you functionality and privacy and on the other hand will give your object an authentic appearance. The immediate surroundings are residential buildings, it is important to achieve privacy for the users of this building, on the basis of this there were small points covered with perforated elements, the staircase with perforated panels as well as the parapet walls on the terrace of the attic.
