We’re building a small single-family villa in the town of Chieri, near Turin, in Italy. This will be our first home and we need interior design ideas to refurbish the house in the best way possible.
The building will be finished by the end of December 2016, so only limited changes in the structure are possible if needed.
The heating system will be placed under the flooring. I would like to have parquet in all the house, including the bathrooms and the kitchen.
These are our tastes:
– We like modern style and also a slightly minimal style;
– We love wood, in particular we like cool or neutral tones;
– We like horizontal lines;
– We like light colors, but sometimes we use bright colors to revive the environment;
– We don’t like lacquered furniture, we like opaque materials and we like wooden textures;
For us, the main part of the house is the kitchen. We already have some ideas about the kitchen design as you can see in the file attached. However we really care about this part of the house, so we are open to new ideas and solutions, both if you want to suggest us some modification and if you want to propose a completely different arrangement.
Only, pay attention about the appliances that are in view, because we really don’t like steel (e.g. pay attention to the sink).
Our budget is about 70.000 euros and we really want to allocate a substantial part of them to the kitchen.
