Description

SIMPLE_LOFT The ground floor follows an open plan arrangement and consists of four separate areas. Next to the entrance are proposed a couple of armchairs in front of the large window openings and a small studio area. The fireplace leads to the living room zone with a large corner sofa, while under the stair was set the TV and a couple of shelves and a bookcase. A large internal window separates living room with the dining area offering both privacy and communication. The position of the dining area was determined in order to take advantage of the light that comes from the kitchen openings. Finally the kitchen; inspired by the Loft Series of Marchi Group, follows an industrial and vintage style. On the upper floor, the three windows next to the stair have been replaced by a large one, while the bed was set on the wall right after the stair due to the limited space. A curtain divides the bedroom by the walk in closet, which openings are remaining as they are. Finally, the kid’s room has a view to the kitchen and is separated by the master bedroom with a plasterboard wall. The entire loft’s colors varying vertically from dark (wenge floor) to light (white ceiling) with strong color contrasts by the furniture. Some of the walls are concrete patterned and for the kitchen are proposed bricked walls and concrete tiles. Although the project was rather a space distribution, than a final solution, since we don’t have all the construction details, the following renderings are indicating a proposal that can give some more inspiration and decoration ideas.
