The project begins with the location of the house, it is proposed in the center in such a way that we have olive trees towards the 4 sides of the house and thus have good views of this large garden, only four of the existing olive trees were removed and 12 olive trees were used for the front garden, for the back garden and for the pool.
The existing bridge was used and from this a 3 m wide path was placed in order to take a route through the field to reach the house.
3 accesses are proposed, the main one that reaches the common area, one that reaches the studio in case of having visitors, and the vehicle that arrives at the garage and is connected to the house by a door that is near the stairs. and the cellar in order to make the house more accessible and there are no long routes that waste space.
Entering through the main access, you reach the common area where the dining room, breakfast room and living room are located, and these in turn connect to the outside social area through large windows, the outside social area is made up of the terrace where a grill with a bar and an outdoor dining room was placed in case you want to eat outdoors, there is also the pool area that joins the terrace by means of steps and this also has lounge chairs to enjoy the sun, after From the outside social area is the back garden to which it was decided to place a pergola with a hammock to enjoy the tranquility of nature. It also has a large green area in which olive trees are used to have a beautiful garden.
The living room is a communion space and in this it was decided to place a fireplace and use the wood storage as part of the design of the house. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the ½ bathroom was also placed nearby in the social area so that it is close to the entire area.
The kitchen is located in such a way that it can serve both the interior and exterior dining rooms, since windows and screens were placed on both sides, in order to make it accessible but also to avoid bad odors, the kitchen also has a large window to the outside to be able to ventilate it correctly.
An attempt was made to leave the studio a bit isolated in order to give it more privacy, although it is on the ground floor, it can be accessed from the outside, and it has a bathroom and a sofa bed in case of visitors.
Going up the stairs are the private areas, and the first thing that this is the shared bathroom, this with the purpose that in case the visitors have to use another bathroom they do not have to enter this whole area, after this we have the two single and double rooms, and on the other side is the main room which has a bathroom and dressing room. At the end we have the laundry room which has everything you need for day to day. It should be noted that all the rooms have access to terraces to enjoy the outside environment and the vegetation. The location of the main room was decided to be towards the back garden, which is where the pool is. In addition, it is also worth mentioning that the rooms were designed in such a way that they match the slope of the ceilings to give a feeling of spaciousness by having a lower height when entering the room and a higher height at the end of the room.
The solar panels were placed on the roofs that are located to the south in order to maximize the solar incidence.
For the facades, we sought to give a unique and different view of the house, taking advantage of the sloping ceilings and the volumes created by the spaces, in order to have a unique house of its kind that takes advantage of 100% of the slopes both for the facades and for the design. inside.
