The main aim of my project was to organize the space according to the wishes of the client and not block any of the windows in the apartment and, therefore, get as much natural light as possible. Moreover, I wanted to visually hide the existing pillars as much as possible. All the furniture suggested is in natural warm colors or white as required by the client.
I decided to keep the entrance number 1, from which one could access a toilet and the wide open space (day zone) consisting of the living room, the study, the dining room and the kitchen, which are all organized around the big balcony. This outdoor area could in adequate weather conditions be used as an extension of this living/dining/study area. The living room and the study are visually separated by a modern, double-sided fireplace which could be enjoyed from both areas. The dining area and the kitchen are big enough to host a larger number of guests, with the piano placed in the center of the big open space enabling the piano player to entertain guests in any of the rooms in this area.
The master bedroom and its additional premises (closet, master bathroom and sauna) are accessible through a separate door from the rest of the night zone of the apartment, which offers additional privacy to the owners. The other two bedrooms, the bathroom and the laundry could be accessed through a hallway. These two bedrooms are big enough to easily organize furniture and transform the space according to the owners' needs.
