It was a pleasure to work on this interesting project.
Understanding your wishes and needs, I did not deviate much from your conceptual solution, but I tried to get the most out of it.
Changes such as: moving installations, building and demolition are the least possible. I was guided by the idea that you don't want a lot of rough construction work. In this regard, only the corridor walls were removed, and all water and sewage installations remained in place.
By removing the corridor walls, we got one big, beautiful, airy, open space. We did not lose the function that the corridor had, we just adapted it to the new space. This resulted in a double-sided shelf next to the entrance to the apartment. On the side of the entrance, it has a practical purpose (storage of keys, wallet, purse), while on the side of the dining room, it has a decorative purpose and has a beautiful appearance. Coats and jackets have a place in the cabinet at the entrance to the dining room.
The living room and dining room, as the rooms where most of the time is spent, are designed to be warm and comfortable, yet practical and modern (with plenty of storage space).
In the kitchen there is a mini dining room, suitable for all quick meals.
The master bedroom area is divided into a sleeping area and a wardrobe area. the walk-in closet that has been designed has enough space for everything.
The previous pantry was converted into a laundry room.
The smaller room is now multipurpose. It can be used as an office, and due to the mobility of the furniture, it can also be used as a training area. On the wall of the room there is a large mirror suitable for Pilates training.
