Description

My_New_Flat The proposal attempts to combine functionality with the user’s needs. Dining/Working space area A round table with 6 seats is set in the center of the flat allowing the view both from the external window and the patio. Also it is next to the kitchen, having an optical contact with it, through the internal kitchen opening. In the center of the wall behind, a shelf system is proposed as a intelligibility divider element between dining and working space area and on the same time can function both as a bookshelf or for decoration exhibiting. Living room The client’s white couch is set opposite to the windows, in the bottom part of the apartment’s plan, creating an insulated living area which allows communication though with the rest interior as well as the exterior space. A coffee table, a low shelf system for TV and as storage space in general and an armchair, are completing the living room, giving a cosy atmosphere. Style The basic concept was to give in space a minimal view, so most of the proposed furnitures are having a strict straight form. However the use of the wood as a basic material and especially the red mahogany wood, or the curved forms of the table and seats, are implying to the space some classy details. Colors The color palette lightens in a vertical axis starting from dark color tones (wenge laminate floor) to light ones (total white ceiling).
