The living
area was divided into three zones: -dining
area, close to the kitchen; -living area
with a sofa, a wall with the tv; -study area
with a library and a desk under the window in order to maximize natural light. The only
physical demarcation is between the dining area and the study area. It is library
which, however, is completely perforated in such a way as not to prevent the
spread of the natural light, and in any case is interrupted in correspondence
of the angle from which the greater part of the sunlight. An element
holds together the dining area and living area, a ceiling that runs along the
entire length of the room that will house the side lights. The horizontal
surface of the ceiling will be used also for other light points, for example at
the dining table. The ceiling ideally continues along the vertical surfaces at
the two extremes of the same band, for which it was thought to use a surface
treatment different from all the other walls, and also to complement them with
the vertical panels, as can be seen from rendering.
