LIVING & STUDIO
The project proposes four solutions about the studio and two about the living room.
Each of them is verified on both dimensional, functional and aesthetics terms.
Your choice will depend on your lifestyle and the way you like living the households.
As professional, globally watching the Living & Studio, I suggest you the solutions where there is an alternation of sitting-relax area (sofa – armchairs) and executive area ( desks _ dining table) like, for instance, Pink A and B, Blue B, Green B, Grey A e B. They look more harmonious and balanced.
All solutions in A variant have the same layout related to the living room, characterized by:
• Linear sofa-bed with mesh 160 x 190, along the wall between living and bedroom 2;
• Round (or square) table, Ø 100-115 cm, near to the window,
and four different layout related to the studio:
_PINK solution: wall bookcase + peninsula desks + reading corner near to window.
_BLUE solution: corner bookcase + island desks, near to the window + reading corner in the corner with bookcase.
_GREEN solution: wall bookcase + linear island desks + reading corner near to the door.
_GREY solution: wall bookcase + separate desks, on the opposite walls + separate reading corners.
All solutions in B variant have the same, alternative layout related to the living room, characterized by:
• Linear sofa-bed with mesh 160 x 190, near to the window.
Both the A and B variants are verified with sofa-bed with chaise longue.
TABLE
It could be also square or rectangular (only in B variant) but I think the absence of edges makes spaces more fluid and flexible.
GLASS PARTITION
I suggest a glass partition between living and studio in order to allow sound insulation without giving up light. Both the swing and sliding doors are functionally correct. The only one difference is about the cost: normally, a reliable and good sliding system is more expensive.
ARCHITRAVE
It could be a good idea to increase the width of the architrave bringing it like the thickness of its wall.
DOOR BETWEEN LIVING AND BEDROOM 2
I think then door between living and bedroom 2 should be considered as a decoration. So, from my point of view, it should stay there.
BATHROOM
A solution: a part of the former toilet compartment has been turned in a wall closet accessible from the night zone corridor.
Inside bathroom, in all solution, the fixtures, furnishing and accessories are placed according to criteria of functionality and aesthetic balance.
