Description

Design intent for this loft was to create a spacious, bright and comfortable home with two separate zones (common and private) that work well together. This is achieved by designing these two areas at the separate sides of the loft, living room on the south and bedrooms to the north, but well connected with the common area of the dining room. For further convenience, there are two entrances to the house, the main lobby as a part of the living room, and the second, more private entrance, connected to the bedrooms.

Overlooking garden, entrance lobby extence to spacious living area for family and friends gatherings and big library as a part of it, but more secluded. Dining table is organized by the fireplace and open kitchen, in between the living room, private areas and garden. Space created this way is coherent with overview of the whole area and with easy traffic flow for all users.

Leading staircase above the kitchen area is located in the study/secondary library or guest bedroom. Connecting hallway can be seen as a secondary entrance to the private areas of the master bedroom and teenage bedroom, both equipped with walk-in closets and private bathrooms. Master bedroom has direct access to the garden and overlooks the pool.

Garden is designed to support outdoor activities during the summer, so under the porch there is a dining area for outdoor gathering around the table and sunbeds with a view of a small pool/playground and trees. During winter this porch can be used as covered garage space.

Designing this loft to be functional with two separate zones (common and private) that work well together and with big open space expanding to the garden and beautiful view, gives the opportunity for family and friends to enjoy their time together in a bright, airy and welcoming home.
