I am very happy to participate in your contest.
In my design, I tried to optimize the existing spaces according to the current state of the house.
My main challenge was the need to keep the structural walls stable as well as the location of the water drain pipe.
I tried to locate the bathrooms and kitchen in an area that is close to the drain pipe.
I moved the kitchen on the second floor to create a large and functional kitchen.
I considered a bathroom for guests and placed it in a place that has good access to the living room and dining room.
I allocated part of the extra space in the corridor and bathroom to the laundry room.
In the master bedroom, I slightly enlarged the dimensions of the bathroom and dressing room to make it more practical.
On the ground floor, I slightly modified the entrance to the living room.
Considering the load-bearing walls next to the staircase and possible problems in moving the bathroom, I assumed the location of the bathroom to be fixed and placed the washing machine (washing machine closet) in it.
We turned the room next to the parking lot into a studio with a sofa bed. In this room, I considered a place for storage or a technical room (it can be removed if you don't want to)
