Description

The house presents itself as a long entrance corridor, at first sight a dark and wasted space. That became the first place to confront: allowing light to reconquer this all space.

The first gesture eliminate the corridor, removing all the walls that defined it and freeing the solidity of the central column cast on site.
This way once we enter the house we get our first view of the most open and lived space on the home (kitchen and living). The distribution space, which previously ran tightly between small service spaces, disappears.
The desire to bring as much natural light as possible into the liveliest parts of the house is also the basis for the radical relocation of the service spaces.
The bathroom volume is moved to the darkest part of the house, behind che kitchen, divided in 2 separated spaces: a passageway to the bedroom which contains sink and shower, a small bathroom with wc, bidet and laundry. For technical reason, the floor if the new bathrooms raised by one step.
