To the left of the entrance is a full-height storage cabinet with mirrored doors to be used as wardrobes-hangers and lockers.
The main entrance entering is focused on the relax area with sofa, designer armchairs and fireplace with TV. Further on near the windows to take advantage of the brightness, you find the convivial area with a comfortable wooden table for 10 diners (space allows you to accommodate even more). The living room includes a kitchen with island and a snack-top view, but the project is set up to easily get a split so you can have the kitchen closed and independent whenever needed.
On the living room, near the dining area, the new entrance leads to the stairway to the basement: the staircase has been closed with a glazed structure, while access is guaranteed by a double sliding door made up of a ' Bris-soleil outdoor door (which is designed to filter the incoming light and guarantees privacy) and a sliding glass inner door.
Behind the kitchen and accessible from the hallway leading into the sleeping area and the guest bathroom, there is a laundry room equipped with washbasin, washer and dryer: this room is located where is now the storage room (at the subscale) and is partially illuminated by natural light filtering thanks to a fixed glass that communicates with the living environment where the most luminous light of the house is located.
In the passage area that from the living leads to the hallway, two reclining cabinets have been made with the use of wall-wire doors with book opening and the same surface finish of the walls.
The large and spacious bedroom is equipped with a large walk-in closet enclosed by full height sliding glass doors. In the room there is a comfortable writing desk and the master bathroom with all amenities (large bathtub for two and a comfortable shower In addition to sanitary): you can install a larger shower to have an even more spacious bathroom if you give up the bathtub.
The flooring of the house is entirely in parquet also for the kitchen and bathroom, just be careful to choose the appropriate essences because there are many types of parquet, each with different resistance and durability characteristics. For most of the house I recommend natural brushed oak, while for bathroom and kitchen I choose the resistant teak or alternatively bamboo: I choose teak also for the outside balcony where there is enough space to accommodate table and chairs for dining outdoors.

A sinistra dell’ingresso è previsto un mobile contenitore a tutta altezza con ante a specchio da adibire a guardaroba-appendiabiti e ripostiglio.
La vista principale entrando è focalizzata sulla zona relax con divano, poltrone di design e camino con TV. Più avanti, sempre vicino a alle finestre per sfruttarne la luminosità, si trova la zona conviviale con un comodo tavolo in legno per 10 commensali (lo spazio consente di ospitarne anche di più). Il soggiorno prevede la cucina con isola e piano snack a vista, ma il progetto è predisposto per ottenere facilmente una divisione in modo da avere la cucina chiusa e indipendente qualora fosse necessario.
Sul soggiorno, in prossimità della zona pranzo, si affaccia il nuovo ingresso che conduce alla scala di accesso al piano seminterrato: il corpo scala è stato chiuso con una struttura vetrata, mentre l’accesso è garantito da una doppia porta scorrevole composta da un’anta esterna a bris-soleil (che ha la funzione di filtrare la luce in ingresso e garantisce la privacy) e un’anta interna vetrata scorrevole.
Alle spalle della cucina ed accessibile dal disimpegno che introduce alla zona notte e al bagno ospiti, si trova la lavanderia attrezzata con lavabo, lavatrice e asciugatrice: questo locale è situato dove ora esiste il ripostiglio (in corrispondenza del sottoscala) ed è parzialmente illuminato dalla luce naturale che filtra grazie a una vetrata fissa comunicante con l’ambiente living dove si trova il maggior irraggiamento luminoso della casa.
Nella zona di passaggio che dal living conduce verso il disimpegno sono stati ricavati due ripostigli mimetizzati grazie all’uso di porte filo muro con apertura a libro e stessa finitura superficiale delle pareti.
La camera da letto, ampia e spaziosa è dotata di una grande cabina armadio chiusa da ante scorrevoli vetrate a tutta altezza: nella camera trovano posto un comodo piano scrittorio e il bagno padronale dotato di tutti i comfort (ampia vasca per due e una comoda doccia oltre ai sanitari): è possibile installare una doccia più grande e avere un bagno ancora più spazioso qualora si rinunciasse alla vasca.
La pavimentazione della casa è prevista interamente in parquet anche per la cucina e il bagno, basta avere l’accortezza discegliere le essenze opportune perché esistono molti tipi di parquet, ognuno con caratteristiche di resistenza e durabilità differenti. Per la maggior parte della casa consiglio il rovere spazzolato naturalizzato, mentre per bagno e cucina scelgo il resistentissimo teak o in alternativa il bambù: prevedo il teak anche per il balcone esterno dove c’è spazio sufficiente per sistemare tavolo e sedie per cenare all’aperto.
