The idea of the project was to divide it into two spaces: the social space and the personal space. The kitchen works as a divider of the house but it is well integrated in the open social space. The main corridor that drives you to the restrooms and the bedroom is covered by a wall so you don't have any visual connection.
The master bedroom also works as an open space since is only for one person once you open all the doors, but you can maintain them close if you want to feel in a smaller space with just your bed which is better for sleeping.
The materials used for the house remind the views of the city of Matera: white walls, clear pavements, white wood. The dark colors work to contrast the spaces and divide them when needed, it is only a psychological barrier that works.
