House "Rainbow of lights"

During the period of ideation I considered some assumptions, for me essential, to ensure functionality and comfort at environments and give these ones an aesthetic character mixing soft colors with some more impacting
and furnishings with different geometrical shapes that differ functions.

First criteria that I followed:
- existing natural light points;
- environments where is impossible insert new windows;
- modifiable wall where it's possible put new and largest windows.

To cope first and second problems, I located all rooms that needed natural vent and lighting near the external walls with windows, I reputed that the main bathroom needed natural vent and it was designed on same place where was before.
Rooms that have not external windows are:
- Workroom. In the first proposal, it has a glass door that overlooks on kitchen and so it receives natural light by the french window in the kitchen and in second proposal it provided of some little windows which are placed: one in the wall between kitchen and workroom and two in wall between workroom and bedroom
- Dress room it's illuminated by some glass boxes on the wall which divided dressbox by the personal bathroom
-Laundry has a small windows that overlooks in bedroom.

Another focal top is the separation between living area and sleeping area and the minimal cutback of aisle. Aisle doesn't exceed 6 square meters in both proposals, but I respected the legal minimum permitted.
Thanks this method I designed another room in addiction to those required: the workroom. It's always useful to have a place where documents are store, you will put largest objects which don't use every day or maybe you can will make some handworks without spoiling the most important furnishings of the house, or you can will iron.


Following your requests , it was necessary to incorporate external stair in, and to make it possible I chose to create a continuous facade which started by living room and turn around the stair and of this facade there are a segment which are 45° inclined, it is supported on the terrace and I put in this segment a slide windows.
Inclination of some walls like the wall of the facade, was favorable in distribution of square meters of rooms because I made significant combinations and also, inclined wall results a distinct element which create widest views, for example:
-in laundry, where is possible make all necessary movements;
-in bad room, which contains large dress room and large private bathroom and has a lot of windows and doors, but with the articulated shape of walls, some of these are not visible from main points of you will live the room.


When I optimized the sleeping area, I noticed that the open living area is extremely wide and so I considered what you requested at the first time: the design of an house able to be B&B, and I think to propose you an alternative distribution of floor which it includes the guestroom.
This alternative solution requires less expenditure for heating, and also became more comfortable for clients, but your bedroom is sufficiently distanced from guestroom and living room is ample too.

Choose of supplies and furnishings was thought according to your request to have a modern environments.

La casa "Arcobaleno di luci"

Durante la fase di ideazione, ho considerato presupposti a mio avviso essenziali per garantire funzionalità e vivibilità agli ambienti e un carattere estetico missando colori tenui ad alcuni più impattanti e ritmi geometrici che scandiscono le diverse funzioni degli arredi.

I primi criteri che ho seguito:
- i punti luce esistenti;
- gli spazi dove invece non è possibile aprire nuovi punti luce;
-le pareti dove è possibile aprirne nuovi e più ampi.
Per far fronte alle prime due criticità, ho sistemato tutte le stanze che richiedono ventilazione e illuminazione naturale dove ci sono pareti dotate di finestre, reputando che anche il bagno principale della abitazione debba avere una essenziale ventilazione naturale, si trova per questo dove già esisteva.
Le stanze che per natura del progetto non hanno finestre che danno sull'esterno sono:
- lo studio, dotato nel primo caso di porta in vetro, che permette di ricevere illuminazione direttamente dal balcone posto in cucina, e nel secondo caso dotato di finestre wasistas poste sulla parete che divide dalla cucina e su quella che divide dalla camera da letto.
-la cabina armadio è illuminata dal bagno padronale attraverso il vetro cemento posto sulla parete che le divide
- la lavanderia riceve luce dalla piccola finestra wasistas che si affaccia nella stanza da letto.

Altro punto focale è la separazione dellla zona giorno dalla zona notte e la riduzione al minimo degli spazi di disimpegno, quindi il corridoio in entrambe le proposte non supera i 6mq, pur rispettando le dimensioni minime consentite per legge.
Sono riuscita così ad ottenere oltre gli ambienti richiesti:
- uno studio che ho deciso di inserire in quanto può servire avere uno spazio dove poter archiviare documenti, riporre oggetti mediamente grandi non in uso sempre, e poter eventualmente fare qualche lavoro di bricolage senza rovinare arredi più importanti di altre stanze, o stirare.

Secondo le richieste da Lei comunicate, era necessario inglobare il corpo scala esterno e per farlo ho scelto di creare una facciata continua che dalla sala si collega al corpo scala. Per renderlo possible ho inclinato di 45° un segmento della facciata che poggia sul terrazzo e ho inserito all'interno una finestra scorrevole.
L'incinazione è risultata favorevole anche nella distribuzione delle stanze, perché mi ha concesso degli accostamenti significativi ed è risultato un elemento in grado di creare prospettive più larghe nelle varie stanze ad esempio:
-una lavanderia capiente abbastanza per esercitare meglio i possibili movimenti.
-una camera da letto spaziosa in grado di ospitare al suo interno cabina armadio ampia e bagno padronale altrettanto ampio, la stanza ha molte porte e finestre, ma con l'articolato sistema di tramezzi, alcune non sono visibili dai punti in cui si vive principalmente la stanza.

Avvenuta l'ottimizzazione di queste aree, è risultato uno spazio comprendente salotto/cucina/sala pranzo decisamente ampio e tenendo conto che in principìo richiedeva un appartamento adatto a divenire B&B , ho pensato di proporLe anche una versione con la stanza degli ospiti nello stesso piano, che porta benefici in termini di consumo e diventa più fruibile per i clienti, pur non intaccando la sua intimità nella zona notte e lasciando all'ambiente unico ancora molto spazio.

La scelta delle finiture e degli arredi è collegata alla sua richiesta di avere un ambiente moderno.
