The project offers the redevelopment with enlargement of an existing single-family house.
The concept provides for a simple, modern yet cozy style using one of the main features, which is the view of the lake.
All of the internal spaces were redesigned, in fact we find a large open-space living area divided in 3 parts: entrance, living room and kitchen. In addition a service bathroom with anteroom.
The goal of this living area is to have maximum natural light and a view of the lake; right from the entrance it is possible to see the landscape thanks to the extensive sliding glazing facing the porch.
The wide living room, included with a fireplace and a reading area, goes on outdoor too, where we can find couches and seatings for parties, time with friends or relax.
The kitchen is L-shaped with a large central island for fast breakfasts/lunches/dinners; it was thought to make the dining area near the glazing to take full advantage of the lake overview.
The porch is divided in 3 areas: lunch/living room/relax.
Near the entrance it was placed the entry for the master sleeping area inclusive of all sorts of comfort: private windowed bathroom with shower and bathtub, a walk-in-closet of about 10 metres squared and a 20 metres squared double room.
The current intended use of the garage, in accordance to the customers’ request, was changed in sleeping area.
Between the main area of the property and the new sleeping area a hallway was created, in which were placed a staircase accessing the first floor, the building’s secondary entrance and a laundry room.
On the sleeping’s area ground floor we can find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is a double room with private bathroom, the second one is a single room.
On the first floor we find a living room for kids, that can be used as play area or as friends space, and two additional double rooms with their respective private bathrooms.
A wide balcony of about 11 squared metres was created for one of the two double rooms.
The overhang of the first floor creates a covered parking area for two vehicles.
The entire new sleeping area has a view of the pool. The pool is included with relax area and outdoor living room.
The project was developed using at its best the view of the lake (strong point of the property) and the view of the new pool.
