Description

Dear Customer, "Less is more" should be your mantra in designing your new home! The building in fact has clean lines and large windows that give lots of light. A clean design is what you need to maintain the wonderful features of this home.
For this reason, the color palette is played entirely on neutral tones, but with some accent of color that gives personality to the whole. Light woods and tiles in large sizes complete the set, minimizing visual leaks.
From the distribution point of view, few changes have been made with respect to the original plan. I suggest not moving the retaining wall of the staircase, because it would also influence distribution on the other floors: in particular, access to the staircase would become cumbersome in the basement.
I also suggest not to give up the storage room on the ground floor, a precious space that allows you to keep the whole house tidy. I also suggest reversing the position of the sofa with that of the dining, closer to the kitchen working area and accessible without crossing the front door. The large windows would disturb the view of the television, but become exceptional for creating a cozy reading corner, with a suspended bookcase and an armchair hanging from the ceiling, overlooking the beautiful garden.
The main changes have been reserved for the master bedroom, transformed into a real suite: the glazed partitions in fact connect the bedroom, the walk-in closet and the master bathroom. The chevron insert creates a rug around the bed, which heats the whole, made very elegant by the bedhead wall covered in marble-effect stoneware.
The staircase was designed as a strongly connoting element: wooden steps suspended in the large supporting septum, which in the headboard becomes a double bookcase and houses on the top a small hanging garden, where the plants can enjoy the direct light coming from the skylight.
Finally, at the end of the garden, I wanted to offer you a small swimming pool: can you imagine it at dusk, illuminated, observing it directly from your living room?
