I propose to have living room at the large space, where it closes to entrance (from staircase or the lift). At the entrance from staircase, it has a cabinet for shoes, coat and a shelf for decoration.
In this area, it another shelf in the right to make the room in regular shape.
I propose to have a family room (round table 5 seats) and dining room (8-10 seats as your requirement). A fireplace to cover one column and separate living area and family room area. It will make family and dining area private. I propose to have some shelves in this area for decoration and for kitchen facilities storage.
For 3 columns in the middle of the rooms (1 column in the living room, and 2 columns in the dining room). I propose to have it as decoration to fit in the space. 2 columns in dining room symmetrically decorate to upgrade this area. (Please see perspective view for details).
