Integral renovation of an apartment (200 m2) in the historic center of Turin. In the floor plan the appartemnt is labeled U.I. 1 (sub 22).
Layout project:
– we wish to redesign and better use the space of the large entrance and the corridor, redesigning the distribution of the rooms on the right side of the apartment;
– we need: 1 living room (the room with the bow window), 1 kitchen (possibly with access to the living room), 1 main bedroom, 2 small bedrooms for kids, 1 studio with bookcases, 2 bathrooms and, eventually, a small laundry area;
– one of the issue of the project is to understand how to get from the entrance to the living area (which will certainly be the living room with the bow window), and so designing at best the sleeping area;
– we like “walk-in closet” and we need space for 4 peoples;
Design:
we want a modern and minimalist style, where some individual historic details (such as vault ceilings, maybe the door frames, …) are maintained and enhanced by playing on contrasts. We do not like the total-white style, we would like warmer colors.
Other details:
– we like parquet (wood flooring) in all the apartment, except bathrooms;
– we need to position and camouflage a big safe (dim. 60x60x120);
– in the living room we would like to place a projector with its screen;
– we would like to install an air conditioning system (perhaps using a false ceiling in the corridor).
Budget and realization:
we intend to implement the project and our budget is 150,000 to 200,000 Euros. We would like to know the availability of designers to follow us in the realization phase and, if possible, we would like to have an indicative estimate of the total costs of the restructuring.
