Dear client,
Based on your project assignment, I made a proposal for a new layout of your apartment. The main parameters were “without many building works” in the apartment, that the facade openings could not be changed, that the lines were clean, minimal and modern, that the living room and dining room were one unit and that the dining room was close to the kitchen, number of rooms, lighting, and the most important moment, the integrity of certain zones, ie public and private.
A couple of things are key to my proposal; the first is the usability of the entrance part. I treated it by placing an interior element "walk in closet", which offers a total of 5.6m meters for storage and is divided into two rooms through which you can directly go to the rooms without unnecessary walking around. This is an important part because it offers you a lot of storage, as you yourself pointed out, storage of shoes, storage in general, and it is very close to the rooms and the entrance, and the kitchen. It fits into the minimalist story because it is adorned with white high surfaces on the outside, which is the introductory moment that this is an apartment designed in the spirit of minimalism.
The second part is the living room which is connected to the dining room and kitchen. With wooden elements, I tried to create a visual barrier between the two rooms. You have many options here. Wooden elements can be fixed or swivel, and yet give many possibilities around the aesthetic moment in the space. It is very important that the kitchen is functionally organized and connected to the areas that are close to it. The sleeping area should be insulated in relation to the public part of the apartment. Two children's rooms are planned based on the current situation and future situation as you stated, ie a room with two beds is for the current age of your children with free central space in the playroom and a slightly smaller room that will serve as a study room or guest room. I took the opportunity that the current bathrooms are very long, I set up a laundry room with direct access from the hallway and toilet. Although you did not emphasize that you need a toilet, there was an opportunity that it can fit and I also think that it is needed for the size of the apartment and the number of rooms and users. If you think that you do not need a special toilet, you can easily allocate that space to the laundry. The master bedroom has direct access to the master bathroom. The showers are not classic, especially the shower in the main bathroom functions as a separate niche. Balconies contain elements that you have specified that you would like the new project to contain. I hid certain points with wooden slats and in that way I created a slightly more intimate space and aesthetically more comfortable to stay.
I hope that this proposal of mine will leave a positive impression on you.
