Hello, dear Client, it was great pleasure working on this lovely home. I tried to satisfy all your briefings and to provide you a solution that is the most family suitable.
Since all the plumings and existing bathrooms are located facing west and north, the logical solution is to put the great open-space living zone et the south-east where the space isn't limited and closed. That way you can get great kitchen area with dining and living space attached. In case of need, living area and entrance hallway could be separated from the kitchen and dining and my suggestion is transparent partition with glass doors as in the sample pictures. Offcourse, all the space could stay open without any partitions.
Guest room/study is located near the entrance and it has its own balcony.
Guest toilet and bathroom is accesed through the small storage room with washer and dryer hidden behind the closet. This area is where you can keep all the household necessities and it can be also used as a corridor.
Long entrance hallway closes at the end of the day zone and it continues as more intimate corridor for night zone rooms. From here you can access master bedroom and children's room with its own bathroom. Great children's room could be divided into two separate rooms later and children could keep on using the same balcony and the same bathroom.
Master bedroom has its own balcony, master bathroom and walk-in closet and it can be all open space, but I suggest that you put the pocket door to separate the toilet from the rest of the space. Depending on the level of privacy you need, all the bathroom and wardrobe could be separate from the master bedroom with the pocket door.
I hope that my solution was helpful to You,
All the best,
Vanja
